Commercial Property Photography

Retail, office, industrial and hospitality, shot for the people who lease and buy them.

Commercial work is a different brief from residential. The buyer is an investor, an operator or a tenant rep, and they are reading for floor plate, ceiling height, loading access, frontage and condition, not for how homely the space feels.

That changes the shot list. Wide frames that establish the envelope, detail on building systems and finishes, frontage and signage visibility, parking and loading, and aerials where the site and its access matter more than the building.

Hospitality sits between the two. A restaurant or hotel needs the atmosphere of residential work with the operational clarity of commercial, and it is usually shot with the lights on and the room dressed.

Common questions

How is commercial priced?

Per property rather than by package. Square footage, number of units and whether aerials or twilight are needed all move the number, so commercial work is quoted after a short conversation.

Do you shoot occupied premises?

Yes. Occupied retail and offices are usually shot before opening or after close to keep frames clear. We will work to the operating hours.
